Days Gone By
The Bar and Restaurant has had many names throughout the years from the original “The Saw Pit”, through many variations of “The Castle Bar”, the “Old Castle”, however is today named in honour of the family most folk associate with the Bar in recent years, the “Boyles”.

Menu Choice
There is something in the menu for all tastes, Vegeterians and Coeliacs are always catered for and according to Ms J Quiggley, the secretary of the Irish Food Writers Guild:
"Mains include poultry, fish, lamb and steaks. And Raymond knows just how to give an excellent choice – crisp duckling, roast goose breast with potato and apple stuffing or Lebanese chicken."

Our Head Chef, Raymond, was delighted to be involved in the judging, Along with Mr Martin O'Muilleor (editor of the The Belfast Media Group) and Mrs Sara Cooper (Coopers Pharmacy Group) of the Plinmanarys for last year's IFEX Chef of the Year. competition.
Their winner Noel went on to win his section with Gold Merits.
