Boyles of Dromore

Adding to the already long tradition of hospitality, dating back over 220 years, the new Boyles Restaurant, in Dromore (Co.Down), takes over from all its predecessors.
The Castle Bar of yesteryear has been touched by the phoenix and been regenerated, now offering World Class Food and Wines at affordable prices.
The sawdust has all been swept up, new paint applied ,the tables are nicely set with fine cloths and are far enough apart for a good degree of dining privacy. Quite simply, Boyles is no longer a Pub or a Bar but a sophisticated restaurant that is now the place to eat and to be seen in!
The team of highly qualified and award winning chefs work their culinary magic every evening of the week, except Monday, to bring the "best of the best" locally produced foods together into a very special meal for the districts discerning palates. There are menus available to suit most pockets and tastes.
As an acknowledgement of the current “credit crises” there is even a "Crunch Deal", offered every day up to 6.45pm; an A La Carte where Irish tradition and French GranMere Cuisine fuse together in harmony, and an inspired "Menu Prestige", where simply the best are showcased. Each meal is prepared to order and can be tailored to almost any special or medical diet / condition. Boyles kitchen only uses the freshest and best ingredients available, cooking them in the healthiest & tastiest methods; so don’t expect to find the deep fried frozen specialities of the 80’s in a starring role here.
The service is genuinely friendly, not excessive or stuffy and formal, but efficient, warm and welcoming. The waiting staff will be attentive and really try to make your dining experience great, there is a definite “can do” feeling and an instilled mannerly culture.
Relax in the traditional and re-born atmosphere and sample one, or more, of the exceptional wines on the list. There are many variations from all over the wine producing world. Unusually, Boyles sells some to the finer wines by the glass and Jug, as well as by the bottle. So there is no excuse for not treating yourself to a wonderfully sharp and steely Chablis with your starter and a cosy comforting Bordeaux with the main course! There is even a specific package of wines carefully selected to accompany the "Menu Prestige". And if it’s a special evening, why not push the boat out with an affordable and competitively priced bubbly!
Since the current owners arrival in Boyles they have moved the environmental health standard to the highly desired 5 Star rating at the most recent inspection.
Boyles is recognised as one of the Best British Restaurants, as judged by the famous “WHICH?” institution in their “Good Food Guide 2010”, a guide that no one can pay to be included in or advertise in. Only 17 other Northern Ireland Restaurants made it! - In addition they are a Full Member of “The Good Food Ireland Organisation”. The Staff and Management of Boyles are waiting to WELCOME YOU!
